… but, what does that actually mean?
It’s the result from one of our successful builds of the 64 bit version of Iguana on Windows. Dmitri – one of the very talented developers who works hard behind the scenes here at iNTERFACEWARE to make all your HL7 integration dreams come true – did a fantastic job of putting together this latest 64 bit build.
If you’re interested in being one of the first to try out Iguana 4.1 (beta) on 64 bit Windows, you can find the latest build on our ftp site.
A number of people we spoke with – on the blog as well as through support, sales and in regular conversations – asked for a 64 bit option, and we listened! That’s the easiest way to get new features and options into our products; just ask. There’s a reason we end most of our blog posts with: “… tell us what you think.”. The feedback we get from our customers is truly invaluable, and more often than not, leads directly to new features and overall improvements.
Building Iguana on 64 bit platforms is just one of a large number of things happening within the development team now that Iguana 4.0 is out the door. We’re hard at work on many new projects – including starting the process of building Chameleon on 64 bit Windows as well – and we’ll try to keep you updated here on our blog as they progress.
So please don’t hesitate to … tell us what you think. :p
